Head of Art

There are two reasons I decided to become a teacher; my love of Art and my desire to share with young people the opportunities that Art affords them.  

Studying Art has enabled me to gain a Masters level multidisciplinary skillset that spans across the specialisms of Art, Photography and Film. I have had the privilege of spending the last decade working as an Art Educator: demonstrating how Art is a powerful tool for us all to help express, communicate and think through. I actively use my own art practice as an exemplar showcasing specific approaches and techniques to create work that encompasses concept and craft.  

 The Art Department at St Edmunds’ has a strong reputation for excellence and inclusion and I am delighted to join a team of dedicated specialists.
