Support St Edmund’s

For St Edmund’s to maintain its position as a top independent school with an excellent reputation, regular investment and continuous improvement are crucial. The St Edmund’s School Alumni Relations and Development Office was created to ensure that both happen.

The aims of the Alumni Relations and Development Office are to:

  • Help the school fulfill its mission, vision and long-term strategy
  • Build a stronger St Edmund’s community by maintaining and encouraging involvement of former pupils, parents and friends of the school
  • Secure funding to enhance existing facilities and develop new facilities
  • Secure funding for bursary and scholarship funds

Current and Past Endeavours

With the completion of Phase One of the Adar Poonawalla Academic Hub in 2018, Phase Two of our Hub project was completed in July 2024.

Recent completed projects have also included the refurbishment of the theatre and foyer, through the generous gift of one donor. The chic and stylish 400-seat auditorium is a space that truly befits the excellent drama and music productions for which the school is renowned.

Other completed projects include the installation of a state-of-the-art audio/visual system in the Chapel, including a new sound system with loop application for hearing-aid users, two television screens for those sitting in the gallery, a new projector and a movable screen. This was made possible through the generous contributions of eight anonymous donors.

Total refurbishment of our School House boarding accommodation, incorporating all bedrooms and common areas was also completed in 2017.
