curiosity shop – 1st february 2023

On Wednesday 1st February Dr Tebbs- Warner delivered a very engaging Curiosity Shop talk about pharmacology.  He explained the roles and derivations of different medicines including paracetamol and aspirin as well as their chemical composition and effect on the body. Different toxins were also explored and the talk concluded by some interesting examples of poisons in animals that we all thoroughly enjoyed listening to!
