Our U5 geographers are currently in the Lake District completing fieldwork in preparation for their GCSE next summer.
Today, they conducted an investigation into the direction of glacial flow in Easedale valley. They used opportunistic sampling techniques to measure the orientation of glacial landforms, collating and displaying their results to draw conclusions.
Tomorrow, we travel to Grasmere to conduct and environmental analysis of tourism impacts. … and we will buy some essential gingerbread for the staff room.
Pupils have been exemplary in both behaviour and work ethic throughout.
