Ski Trip Blog: sunday

Despite “Dennis” trying to disrupt our travel plans, we arrived in Denver ahead of schedule. The view as we drove through the Rockies to our hotel was breathtaking and the switch back mountains passes with snow falling made for a great scene. The outdoor hot tubs with steam rising and Americans enjoying the mountain air, although dark and snowing, set the scene for the coming week.

Exhausted but happy we had an amazing Deli sandwich tea and collapsed into our sumptuous beds. The experienced travellers in our party slept soundly until the 6:45am wakeup!! The younger ones, well, let’s just say didn’t need an early call!! Tomorrow may be a different story?
