Year 11 Blencathra Expedition

Our Year 11 Geographers have just returned from a highly successful field trip.

The team spent three days conducting field work studies in the stunning environment of Blencathra in The Lake District.

The evidence that they have gathered will contribute directly to their final GCSEs next summer.

The expedition was expertly led by our Head of Geography Mrs Burton alongside Mr Kincaid and Mr Coupe.

Mrs Burton said “all 41 pupils were fantastic – onsite and out in the field.”

Our Geographers now look forward to a trip to Malham Tarn in the Yorkshire Dales in March and next year an amazing expedition to Japan.
