Tim Reynish, former St Edmund’s pupil, awarded MBE in Queen’s Birthday Honours
It gives us great pleasure to report that former St Edmund’s pupil, Tim Reynish (French Horn and ex-Director of the Royal Northern College of Music) was recently awarded an MBE for his services to Music in the Queen’s Birthday Honours. Renowned the world over for his work with orchestras and ensembles, Tim joined the RNCM in 1975 as a tutor for the Postgraduate Conducting Course, before spending 25 years as Head of the School of Wind and Percussion (now Wind, Brass and Percussion). Tim spoke very highly of the influence that the school had on his achievement and we congratulate him on this fine and well-deserved degree of recognition.
